T&T Does it Again!

The EWA T&T Team had their second competition of the season on February 9^th at the Trevino’s Invitational in Lancaster, Texas. The definitely showed they have been working hard since the Dallas Cup to improve their passes and routines.  Only 10 athletes and 1 pre-team athlete from the EWA Allen T&T Team competed and then all of the EWA Prosper T&T Team competed. Together they came home with 13 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals. They also won 5 team awards and had an all around champion for level 6 girls and had an overall level 6 girls tumbling champion.

Coach Amy the head coach of the EWA T&T Team in Allen said this about the competition “My athletes have come a long ways since the Dallas Cup. The pushed themselves hard and definitely progressed more on their road to qualifying to the T&T National Championships in July. They also showed more team spirit and really helped their teammates overcome some fear and put together their passes for the first time this season. I am very proud of them and I am sure they will be able to achieve their goal of qualifying to Nationals at the State Championship meet in April.”
