T&T Takes Houston By Storm *Updated
The EWA T&T Competitive Team had their fourth competition of the season February 22nd – 23rd in Houston, Texas. They are striving for perfection as they progress through the season and ultimately end up qualifying to Nationals this summer in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Houston National Invitational hosted 500 athletes from Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The teams competed in Trampoline, Tumbling, and Double Mini as well as a special Synchronized Trampoline competition. EWA definitely improved on their performances and came home with more confidence going into their competition this weekend in Frisco.
EWA came home with 10 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals for just their individual events, they also added 2 gold medals and a bronze on Synchronized trampoline as well as many top finishers on this event.
Overall the entire meet was a success; there were many EWA athletes that threw a new pass or a new skill in their pass or routine. It takes guts to do that but EWA athletes don’t hold back, they push themselves so they can achieve their goals. Coach Amy is proud of all the athletes for pushing themselves and stepping up their difficulty to help them be better prepared for State & Regionals and ultimately Nationals!! GO EWA!
