Region 3 Championships

The EWA T&T Team competed at the Region 3 Championships in Fort Worth on April 29 – May 1st. There were 81 teams and 1203 athlete competing for the title of Region 3 Champion! EWA did not disappoint, coming home with 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 1 bronze medals. The EWA T&T athletes also qualified for Nationals and had 3 athletes make the Region 3 All-star team which will compete at Nationals against all the other Regions. Congratulations to Sydney Wendt, Hannah Green, and Isaac Rowley. They will be defending the Region 3 title at Nationals in hopes that Region 3 will continue its reign as the best Region in the country for Trampoline & Tumbling.

Coach Amy said this about the athletes performances “This competition was tough, this was the biggest competition they have competed at to date. The athletes definitely performed like veterans! They set the bar high and made the other athletes step up to beat them. Now we train extremely hard for two months in the hopes that everyone will achieve their goals and get on the podium at the Junior Olympic Championships in Long Beach, California in July. Congrats to all the athletes and good luck, EWA is rooting for you.”
